One nice thing about Tahoe by boat is being able to see some beautiful architecture not accessible by land. Flower of the Lake offers no beaching, no docking, cool sightseeing, made famous by being used in (one of the) Godfather movies.
Fleur De Lac is not open to the public and does not do weddings or events inside or outside. The property and condominiums are private and not available for rent.

Nice, newly rebuilt (7/98) pier at the north end of pleasant picnic area (despite being somewhat close to the road), pebble/cobble beach, bicycle and hike-in camping inland of the main road (Hwy 89).
Directions: Kaspian Campground is located on the west shore of Lake Tahoe on Highway 89, near Tahoe City, California. From Truckee, take Highway 89 South to Tahoe City. Continue south on Highway 89 from Tahoe City for another 4.2 miles to Kaspian Picnic Area. Approximately 2/3 of the way between Tahoe City and Homewood.
