Coon Street Beach and Launch Ramp

A perfect Lake Tahoe vacation spot for sunbathers and boaters. This beach features restrooms, picnic areas with grills and boat launch. Visit the farmer's market and hike the area with your dog. Located on the east end of Kings Beach off Coon Street. Launch ramp and parking (Launch fee $10, $10 daily fee for parking), sign in parking lot: "Navigational Hazards Exist in Launch Area".

Kings Beach State Beach and Pier

Pier use is free although only marginally suitable for tieing up (no bumpers or cushioning, only 2 sets of cleats), mostly monopolized by commercial ski and parasail boats. A large, free sand beach with paid state parking ($5), public beach, picnic tables and barbecue areas, kid's park, and public restrooms. .

Kings Beach State Recreation Area

The park is located in downtown Kings Beach, off Hwy. 28. Restrooms, picnic area, barbecue grills, and playground area.

Kings Beach State Recreation Area features Ponderosa Pine and small brush covering the park's 700 feet of lake frontage area. This day-use only area is popular for water sports during the summer.
