Small city park with launch ramp down under highway bridge, run by City of South Lake Tahoe Parks and Recreation.

El Dorado Beach and Boat Ramp is the largest beach area in South Lake Tahoe, it is the place to go for large picnics, launching your boat, renting a kayak or water toy, viewing the lake, or simply to relax. Highlights of this facility include:

* Large turf area, perfect for throwing out a blanket
* Large picnic area, includes tables and barbeque pits
* Boat launch with floating dock (fee)
* Kayak and water toy concession
* Swim area, roped and buoyed (no lifeguard)
* Bike trail
* Restroom
* Two parking lots

* Commercial Day Use: $35.00
* Annual Pass: $125.00
* Commercial Annual Pass: $365.00
