 Homewood Marina on the left, West Shore Cafe on the right Lake Tahoe's north-west shore includes some of the lake's finest boating destinations. This are was one of the earliest to be settled by wealthy Californians setting up vacation homes. Residential development has continued, along with Ski resorts, but the west shore remains charmingly rustic. This is one of the best areas of the lake for high-quality dining with great boating access. West Shore Cafe, Sunnyside Restaurant, and Chambers Landing are all great spots. The lake's original boat dealer, Obexer's, is located at Homewood. |
